I’m an Engineer, Get me out of here! is back this June. Between the 10th and the 21st, students at 12 schools will be putting their questions to 6 engineers in the Health Zone.

Tonia Tzemanaki | Lecturer in Robotics, University of Bristol
Tonia teaches robotics to university students and also designs wearable robotic devices for healthcare.
Sam Gaughan | PhD Student, University of Nottingham
Sam uses computers to learn about and improve enzymes so they can be used to make all sorts of useful chemicals and medicines.
Emily McNee | Engineering Manager for UK & Europe, Xstrahl Ltd
Emily designs and develops skin cancer treatment products.
Ejay Nsugbe | Researcher in Prosthetic Control, University of Bristol
Ejay works on prosthetics for disabled children
Edgars Kelmers | PhD Student, Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering
Edgars is studying so he can invent better implants, for example, in hips and knees, that last longer.
Charnett Chau | Biochemical Engineer, UCL
Charnett is looking at how environmentally-friendly a system is, and how it can be made better, because if something is bad for the environment it is also bad for us health-wise.
