• Question: how important is it to you for improving the environment by eliminating plastic waste?

      It’s really important, plastic waste is a huge issue right now… plastic is a great material and does a lot of things we need it to do, the issue is how we treat the waste is not sufficient which leads to our issues of over filling of landfills and a lot ending up in the ocean etc.

      We need to move away from extracting new oil to make plastic because that is where a lot of environmental emissions are coming from. We are trying to reduce the waste and reduce the production of plastic from new oils – this means increasing the capability of my recycling system is majorly needed right now. Otherwise, more drastic changes to our climate will occur and we definitely do not want that.
