• Question: how many hours a day do you spend doing your job?

      My work at the university is flexible, I spend as much time as I need, some times more some times less. I try to not work in the evenings and weekends and keep to around 8 hours per day in average. Some times I have to work more though, especially when deadlines are close.

      It varies a lot it could be anywhere from 6 to 10 or even 12 hours if I am busy/excited about something!

      I try and do 9am and 6pm so I have time to do other stuff. You can get so absorbed into doing research that you forget and not do anything else.

      I try to work 7 hours per working day.

      Averages about 50hrs each week-and even up to 70+ during intense periods.
