I’m a PhD student, so I had to do well in A-levels to get into university, then do well in my degree to be able to apply for a PhD, and pass an application and interview because I am in a Centre for Doctoral Training.
Hey! I’m similar to Sam.
I went through:
– GCSEs (Maths and Double Science will be helpful if you want to do engineering),
– A-levels (Maths, Further Maths, Physics & Biology)
– Bachelor/Master university degree in Biochemical Engineering + a year in Biomedical Engineering
(gap year doing volunteering work – which I would recommend)
-PhD on how to make drug manufacturing greener
– Now a researcher at the university researching on how to eliminate plastic waste
If I’m honest with you, I went with the flow, as long as you like the subjects you’re learning you’ll find the path easy 🙂
